INTAKE FAQ & CRITERIA

Frequently Asked Questions

Important criteria and expectations for joining CodeLABS as an engineering student at JMIT Radaur.

Q. Who is eligible to apply for CodeLABS?

Any 1st, 2nd, or 3rd year engineering student at JMIT Radaur across CSE, IT, AI&DS, or related technical branches who is passionate about computing is eligible to apply.

Q. Do I need prior coding experience to join?

Yes. CodeLABS is an intensive, builder-focused engineering club where members build real projects and compete in hackathons. We look for candidates who already possess foundational-to-intermediate knowledge in their chosen domain and are ahead of the crowd.

Q. Can I participate in multiple domains?

You choose one primary focus domain (AI/ML, Development in MERN/Java, or DSA in C++/Java) for your weekly track, and collaborate across domains during hackathons and open projects.

Q. How does the selection process work?

Submit your profile and GitHub/LeetCode handle via the official application form in September. Shortlisted candidates are invited for an interactive domain review with club leads.
