CodeLABS Founded at JMIT Radaur: Empowering Future Engineers in AI, Development, and Algorithms

CodeLABS Officially Founded as JMIT Radaur's Premier Computing & Engineering Club

August 2026 – The Department of Computer Science & Engineering at Seth Jai Parkash Mukand Lal Institute of Engineering and Technology (JMIT), Radaur, is proud to announce the establishment of CodeLABS.

Founded as a student-driven computing and engineering community, CodeLABS is structured around three dedicated learning tracks designed to prepare students for real-world software engineering, state-of-the-art artificial intelligence research, and competitive algorithmic contests:

  • Domain 01 • AI & Machine Learning: Neural networks, PyTorch, computer vision with OpenCV, NLP transformers, and data science workflows.
  • Domain 02 • Development: Fullstack web applications across the MERN ecosystem (React, Next.js, Node.js, Express) and enterprise Java (Spring Boot 3, REST APIs, Microservices, PostgreSQL).
  • Domain 03 • Technical (DSA & CP): Data Structures, Algorithms, Dynamic Programming, and Competitive Programming sprints in C++20 and Java.

With direct mentorship from faculty advisor Dr. S. K. Sharma and student convenors, CodeLABS provides a collaborative environment for engineers to build production-grade projects and represent JMIT at national hackathons.

"Our mission is simple: to bridge academic theory with industry standards, building an ecosystem where students solve hard problems and push code every single week."
